I did a banner for New york news site, Capital New York. With the heat wave we're currently getting in the city, the Editor and I thought it would be nice to do a banner on Rockaway Beach, since most New Yorkers are frequenting there this summer.

Here are two color sketches.

We ended up going with the second sketch, only with a few more people in it like in the first one. Also, the beach signs have been removed and "Rockaway Beach" is now in the sky.

I'm currently finishing up illustrations for a few literary classics; To Kill a Mockingbird and The Great Gatsby, to be used in a series of illustrated videos for Sparknotes Video. The Scarlet Letter may be on the way as well.

I had drinks with a few friends the other day and did a little drawing.


After doing the first drawing, I decided to play around a little and do a really quick one with a giant sharpie.
